The JBRL series, run by Jimmy Babcock, is one of the most popular Southern California racing series for some of the World's top drivers. Kyosho/Sirio/AKA driver Cody King waged a season-long battle in the truggy class, staying right at the top of the ranks throughout the season. The A-main and the series championship came right down to the end of the race, where King made the pass for the lead, winning the last round of the series and taking the win for the entire JBRL Series in the class. King runs the Kyosho ST-RR with a Sirio CL7B STI engine, AKA wheels with medium compound City Block tires, Byron's Race Blend fuel with 30-percent nitro, and 2.4 GHz KO Propo EX10 Helios radio and servos. Congratulations to Cody and pit pop Paul King for winning the last round and for the series win!

Indoor Rallycross meeting note:

There has been a change to the Friday practice-
There will now not be any practice at all, it will be controlled practice in heat order.
From 09:00 hours in 15 minute slots, with a min of 6 rounds or more if possible. There will be no breaks between rounds.

It is requested that all drivers are track side by 07:30 hrs to book in for 1st heat at 9:00hrs

Glyn is a very experienced time keeper and has run many successful meetings namely Tyro 2008 series, 8th-08 series, 2 x CML Winter Series, 2 x Panther Cups and Frankley Model Car Club.

We plan to open entries for the event by New Years. We have a lot of things we are working on for this event that we hope to be able to have confirmed and announce in the weeks to come.
Racers from all countries are invited. This race will also qualify them to enter the RC Pro International Finals in November 2009.
The initial entry limit will be 150 racers. If these fill by May 1st we plan to open an additional 50 entries and bring in lights so we can finish qualifying after dark.
Entry will be available on www.rcsignup.com and can be paid via paypal. Each racer will receive a packet and we are working on the contents of that packet now.
Also I will be attending from the US to be the race director for this event. We are 8 months away and I'm ready to leave NOW!

Round one of the 2008/2009 AKA Winter Series got off to a flying start with no less than 71 drivers making the trip to DRT. This was set to be a no walk in the park race meeting for anyone as the level of driver in attendance was fantastic. To name a few we had "Mike Cradock Kyosho MP9, Brennan Ralls Xray 808, Sam Taylor Mugen MBX6, Elliot Boots Mugen MBX6, Tommy Chung Kyosho MP9, Kevin Brunsden Xray 808 and Reece Sawyer Kyosho MP9"
